Bugzilla Viewer

Some companies love Bugzilla. Others have never heard of it. LiveProject supports Bugzilla version 2.18.1 or later, and allows users to create viewers on their favorite bug (error) searches.

Essentially Bugzilla viewers show the result of a Bugzilla search. The results are exactly the same as when you open Bugzilla in your browser and perform a search. However, LiveProject does this in the background and it keeps checking for changes.

The list of bugs is essentially "live" (within a few minutes), and so you can monitor your Bugzilla database easily from within LiveProject. You can also configure the columns, and sort and re-order the list of bugs similarly to the project task list.

LiveProject supports creating any number of filters, which allows you to quickly switch your view by switching your filter. A filter is equal to a search query, and the dialog box closely resembles the user interface you are presented with for a standard Bugzilla installation.

Using LiveProject, you can also quickly see the details of a bug by double-clicking on it. You can even open attachments.

To enter new bugs or edit a specific bug, right-click and use the context sensitive menu to launch bugzilla at the right location in your browser.

LiveProject makes it easy and fast to monitor Bugzilla databases.
