The Login screen is presented on startup if Login on startup is enabled unless Auto-login is enabled with valid user information.
New users that do not yet have an account, can follow this link to create a new one. Note that an account is usually shared between multiple users in a company. In some cases a company can have multiple accounts, but you should not create a new account if you are trying to join an existing one.
To get invited to your company's account, you should contact your manager who can invite you. It is not possible to share documents and projects between separate accounts.
Purchase additional licenses, or buy new licenses.
Configure the connections to your LiveProject Servers. This is only required if you need to connect to a LiveProject Server not hosted by KaDonk, e.g. if your Company is managing its own LiveProject Server or you need to connect to a 3rd party account that is hosted by the 3rd party. Most people will connect to the default LiveProject Server, and never use this option.
Your e-mail and password are registered on the LiveProject Server. If this is your first time logging in, you should have received an e-mail from your Manager with your account information and a temporary password.
Note: On your first login, you will be prompted to change your account information. The window is similar to the User Information Options.
If you forget your password, clicking this text will attempt to reset it, if you can answer your security question with an exact match:
Enter your e-mail and press the "Get security question from server." This will retrieve your question, which you must answer with the exact match of your original answer. If you match the answer, your password will be reset and an e-mail with a new temporary password will be sent to the registered e-mail address.
Important note: To avoid unauthorized resetting of your password, you should pick a very personal question/answer pair, and possibly sprinkle it with special characters and uppercase/lowercase letters. Don't pick something others can easily guess. You can always change your question/answer through options.
Check this box to avoid this login window and have LiveProject log in automatically. This setting can be turned off later through the Startup Options.
If you do not have a LiveProject account, you can still run LiveProject as a free project viewer. When in this mode, you will not be able to access files on the LiveProject Server, nor will you be able to make changes to projects. Viewers on shared projects are not opened, but local files will re-open as usual.
