How to Sort
Sorting Columns
The most basic sorting is to sort based on contents in a column:
- Click once on a column header to sort in ascending order.
- Click once more to sort in descending order.

As you can see above, the sorting takes place on the each level of the
task-tree, so while the sub-tasks are sorted, this does not mean that they are
not still children of task number 1.
You can also sort ALL tasks as an alphabetical flat-list, which will
disregard the task-tree structure. For this you will need to apply a
Filter.
Reset Sort
To reset the column sorting, right-click in the task table, and select
Reset Sort from the dropdown context menu.

Viewer or LiveProject Project Collaboration products. Compare versions.
You may know auto-filters from programs such as Microsoft Excel.
Auto-Filtering allows you to quickly select a set of values from each
column, which are then filtered into the task list.
Auto-Filtering is turned on by pressing the Auto Filter button
on the
top toolbar.
Once Auto-Filtering is turned on, each column will show a dropdown list,
that summarize all the values in that column. Selecting a value from this
dropdown list will instantly filter the tasks that matches the selection.

As you can see, the filtering is active on a sub-task level, and the
structure of the task tree is maintained.
Columns with active filters are highlighted in blue.

To remove auto-filtering, simply click the auto-filter button
again to
turn it off
